My friends came to Hachioji to meet me.

Since I'm a new geisha, I don't have my own regular customers. So I sent invitation emails to some of my close friends to inform them of my new job so that they might want to attend my parties.

Not only was I trying to promote myself, I also wanted them to know about the geisha world.
Generally they don't know much about geisha and ozashiki parties.

At first, I posted some articles about the Hachioji geisha on one SNS site, enticing my readers that if they were interested in the Hacioji geisha to let me know.

However only a few of my friends commented on my articles. I was very disappointed.
So I sent some emails directly to them.

3 friends replied that they were interested in Hachioji geisha, and 1 friend planned a special party to bring new customers.

They invited their friends to come to the special party, which we named "Ozashiki experience".
At first, not so many people were interested in the "Ozashiki experience", however finally I was able to book in 10 customers. I was very glad.

I requested 2 "O-ne-san", geisha sisters, to join the party and entertain my friends and friends' friends with me. The O-ne-sans agreed to my request.

My O-ne-sans and I planned to entertain my new customers with traditional Japanese dance, some kinds of "Ozashiki-asobi", traditional games, and Rakugo.

As for my shamisen performance, as I already wrote in my previous article, my geisha mother wouldn't allow me to perform solo as a "Zikata" who is the professional accompanist to the dancing.
Nevertheless she allowed me to perform solo as an additional entertainment.

I was very glad to entertain the guests with my shamisen, because one of their purposes of coming to Hachioji was to see my activity.

Finally the special day came.

We usually entertain regular customers who are used to the Hachioji geisha. So, for my geisha sisters and me, the "Ozashiki experience" for our new customers was a rare experience.

The length of the party was decided to be about 2 hours. So the most senior o-ne-san instructed us to complete all parts of the program within the time limit of the party.

I really appreciate her, because her management was perfect, so my friends could really enjoy the party.

As for my shamisen performance, I didn't make any mistakes. I think I'm getting used to performing solo little by little. While I was playing, I saw that everyone was taking photos.

As for my Rakugo, everyone laughed, and some of my friends said to me that my Rakugo was very nice and interesting. I was really glad.

After the party, I talked with my geisha sisters. They said to me that it was a wonderful party, because they could feel the customers enjoyment of the party.

Of course, my friends are very nice people, and my friends' friends too.
They all created a wonderful atmosphere at the party.

After the party I received a request to host another party from my friend's friend. I'm glad to have the opportunity to host second party as a result of this one.
